- Salami, Sausage
- Herring and Cod
- Italian broad beans
- Egg Plant
- Commercial Gravies
- Soy Sauce
Monosodium Glutamate, (MSG); Chocolate (that contains phenylethylamine); Aspartame; Nitrites (found in bacon, hot dogs, some sandwich meats) may trigger headaches or migraines.
A Carbohydrate-Rich, Low-Protein Diet might relieve migraine headaches in some people. Many people on such diet have reported a reduction in the severity of symptoms.
Also, be sure that you are getting enough of these important Vitamins and Minerals:
Folic Acid and Niacin
First talk with your Doctor about the dosage of Vitamins and Minerals, having too much of a Vitamin or Mineral can also cause severe symptoms.
