Saturday was fantastic. I walked in the Veteran's Parade to represent our Gym, (Body Fit Gym) and our partnership with the Veteran's Restorative Care Center. It felt really good, and normally something I would talk myself out of. They offered to hang my banner on the truck and ride inside but I proudly wanted to walk. Towards the end, my arms were burning, and I did not even care. The best part of that walk, is that I did not care what people thought. That is usually a fear we all have, "what do they think of me? Am I worthy enough? Do they love me?" I walked with confidence and love in my heart for all.
I spent time with my kiddo and my business partner. It was just so good for my soul. Often we tend to tell ourselves we are just too busy, or whatever excuse, to do things we love. For me it is often the guilt that is my excuse. "I shouldn't do, (this or that), because I am taking away time from my business, or friends, or my kid." Instead of having guilt, I will make sure everything or everyone gets equal time. I want to do more things that I love, this is how I will live a joyous life, and not being 80 years old and wishing I would have done more. Everyday is a blessing, so I plan to make the best of each moment. My message from my dream was clear to do just this.
So I decided to literally sleep the day away. I went to bed around 9 pm last night, awoke early in the morning, struggled to get back to sleep, and then awoke at 4:00 am, (my normal everyday time), decided to listen to some guided meditations, and then at 6:00 I decided to lay down again. I woke almost a couple hours later starving, made some eggs, read some of my book and laid down again till almost noon. I loved every minute of it. My body is obviously still trying to heal, and made it known that it wanted rest. I spent time with my kiddo, did some simple household chores, read my book, and even watched a movie that I have been wanting to watch for a couple of years now. What a perfect day.
On that note, I say goodnight to all, much love, and thank you for reading,
